My name is Melba July; I am a Champion of Brains and Beauty. You have reached my blog/information page and I’m grateful you are here!

First, I am here to spread the gospel that brains and beauty CAN co-exist, peacefully, in the same person. Having spent a number of years engaged in administrative management, I discovered two of my greatest talents are analysis and explanation. I intend to encourage everyone I can to reach for their deepest well of motivation by tapping into their D.R.E.A.M.S. – Daily Ritual Execution And Motivation Strategies!

Why am I doing this?

• Because I grew up in a generation where smart girls were not considered among the most attractive and always watched my daughters get pushed away because they valued their intelligence more than being a doormat or trophy – and
• Because smart, funny, beautiful women are priceless assets critically needed to weather the, exceptionally, challenging times we find ourselves navigating.

As this blog takes shape, you will find information, encouragement and actionable ways to help you – or a student close to your heart – design a D.R.E.A.M. Strategy to make every day a step (through learning and confidence) forward in the direction of your dreams.
