(Electronic Flash Cards)
Flashcards are one of the most efficient and effective ways to study (and remember) large volumes of information. Flashcards engage active recall by attempting to remember the concept from scratch rather than simply staring at the passage in a textbook.
Flashcards engage metacognition – awareness and understanding of one’s own thought processes. Applying metacognitive strategies ingrains memories deeper into your knowledge, leading to better learning outcomes.*
These E-Cards are designed to be a quick, easy way to reinforce the necessary skill of mental math. I designed them using state math standards (forTX &OR). They can be opened on a computer, laptop or cellphone.
The first goal is to score 100%; the second goal is to beat the time to complete. The facts in every quiz will shuffle each time it is opened, so you may never see the same quiz twice.
I invite you to try all the grade levels/operations and text me at the number in the Thank You screen to receive timing and suggestions for improvement.
